ABOUT US - Owners Deb & John
(message from John)
On July 1, 2014 Deb Reynolds and I purchased the Quail Lodge located in Canyon Dam. Prior to becoming small business owners Deb & I were both employed by the City of Fortuna, Fortuna is located on the West coast approx. 100 miles South of the California/Oregon Border. Deb managed the River Lodge Conference Center and I was the Parks & Recreation Director. Our life changing decision to leave the community we grew up in was based upon our strong desire to operate our own business and more importantly our love for fishing, hiking, bicycling & all of the outdoor adventures beautiful Plumas County has to offer.
For the past twenty years we have been visiting Plumas & Lassen Counties fishing Eagle, Antelope, Bucks & Almanor Lakes. Deb & I love the area, people & weather, fall has been our favorite time of year, but we are looking forward to experiencing all four seasons in the mountains.
UPDATE 2018 Wow, four years ago Deb & I began our new life journey here in beautiful Plumas County.
UPDATE 2019 We can't believe it. 5 years already. This past year flew by.
UPDATE 2021 Where did two years go?
